Vanessa and I find it such an honor to be working with some of the most wonderful people in the world. We were unfortunately not born compassionate people. We struggled for years to be able to reach out to others with the love of Christ.

Then one day God really began working on us several years ago, and we saw our selfish attitudes and motives begin to shed away. It was hard at times and really hurt at other times, but it was a road we both desired to be going down.

God began to show us the incredible opportunity we had with raising our own children, which is our first mission field. And what better way to achieve incredible things with your mission field then to make it a BIG ONE! So we started having babies, and having babies, and adopting, and adopting, until today we would be considered "collectors" to some. We have hit the big #10! What a blessing our children are. What a blessing it is to see your children grow up in the saving knowledge of their loving creator!

We are blessed, truly blessed, to serve in Liberia. God has given us such and incredible love for these people. We could not serve enough, we could not give enough. When we get off the plane in Liberia we don't know if there is enough time for the hugs we want to give out to others. We get depressed realizing we will have to leave sooner than we will want to. Our hearts go out to the people even as we walk down the streets. But we see the progress being made through the help of our partnering individuals, churches, and organizations and we are so thankful that others can be a part of seeing hope restored in Liberia as well.
