Who Are We?

Spirit Liberia is a Christian humanitarian organization, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. We are working with children, families, churches and their communities specifically in Liberia, West Africa, enabling them to reach their full potential.

God is "reviving the heart and soul of Liberia". What is that heart and soul we are looking to revive?

The heart: We want the Liberian people to once again have the heart to "will to live - and not just live - to thrive".

And the soul: We care more about the soul of the Liberians than their lives themselves. We believe that when we reach a soul true lifestyle change will happen. With that change comes hope, love, and a desire to help their fellow man.

Spirit Liberia is following God's vision and changing lives one heart, one soul at a time.

Who do we serve?

We serve the children, families, and congregations of the churches of Liberia. We have found sincerity of heart and integrity of soul with many of the Liberians we have worked with, and know that the future is so bright for those who see the future with "the eyes of Christ". They are joyful in despair, loving in trials, and compassionate when they have nothing but themselves to give.

Why do we serve them?

God has called us to love one another and have compassion on the poor. Liberia is the fourth poorest country in the world and they are in desperate need of our assistance.

Our goal is that each community we serve, each person we touch, will see the compassion of Christ on our hearts, the joy of Christ in our eyes, and the passion to help in our hands. We truly love to serve these people.
